Board Game Count – Datenschutzerklärung
Kurzfassung: Board Game Count kommt ohne Konten, ohne Werbung und ohne Tracking aus. Deine Spieler, Partien und Ergebnisse bleiben auf deinem Gerät und – wenn du iCloud nutzt – in deinem persönlichen iCloud-Account. Der Entwickler hat darauf keinen Zugriff.

Welche Daten die App verarbeitet
Die App speichert die von dir angelegten Inhalte – Spielernamen, Partien, Punktestände, Auszeichnungen – lokal auf deinem Gerät. Ist iCloud aktiviert, synchronisiert Apple diese Daten über CloudKit in die private Datenbank deines iCloud-Accounts. Diese Daten sind nur für dich zugänglich; es gelten ergänzend die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Apple (iCloud).
Wertungsbogen-Katalog
Die App lädt den aktuellen Katalog kuratierter Wertungsbögen aus einer öffentlichen CloudKit-Datenbank. Dabei werden keine personenbezogenen Daten übertragen.
Feedback und Bogen-Einreichungen (freiwillig)
Wenn du über die App Feedback sendest oder einen selbst erstellten Wertungsbogen einreichst, werden deine Nachricht, der betroffene Spielname, die App-Version, der Zeitpunkt und – nur wenn du sie angibst – deine E-Mail-Adresse an eine vom Entwickler betriebene CloudKit-Datenbank übertragen. Zweck ist die Beantwortung deines Anliegens und die Verbesserung der App (Art. 6 Abs. 1 lit. b und f DSGVO). Du kannst jederzeit die Löschung verlangen: eine E-Mail genügt.
Käufe
Alle Käufe laufen über deinen App-Store-Account und werden von Apple abgewickelt. Der Entwickler erhält keine Zahlungs- oder Kontodaten.
Game Center (optional)
Verknüpfst du ein Spielerprofil mit Game Center, speichert die App lediglich die Game-Center-Spieler-Kennung lokal bzw. in deiner privaten iCloud, um das Profil wiederzuerkennen.
Live-Teilen (optional)
Beim Mitverfolgen einer laufenden Partie überträgt die App den Punktestand an die von dir eingeladenen Geräte über dein lokales Netzwerk. Es findet keine Übertragung an den Entwickler statt.
KI-Recherche (optional)
Die optionale Zählweisen-Recherche nutzt einen von dir selbst hinterlegten Anthropic-API-Schlüssel. Nur wenn du sie aktiv startest, wird der Name des jeweiligen Spiels an Anthropic (USA) übermittelt; es gelten die Datenschutzbestimmungen von Anthropic. Der Schlüssel wird ausschließlich im Schlüsselbund deines Geräts gespeichert.
Kein Tracking
Die App enthält keine Werbung, keine Analyse- oder Tracking-SDKs und erstellt keine Nutzungsprofile.
Deine Rechte
Du hast nach der DSGVO das Recht auf Auskunft, Berichtigung, Löschung, Einschränkung der Verarbeitung, Datenübertragbarkeit und Widerspruch sowie das Recht auf Beschwerde bei einer Datenschutz-Aufsichtsbehörde. Für Daten in deiner privaten iCloud übst du diese Rechte direkt über dein Gerät bzw. deinen Apple-Account aus; für Feedback und Einreichungen genügt eine E-Mail an die oben genannte Adresse.

Board Game Count – Privacy Policy
In short: Board Game Count works without accounts, ads or tracking. Your players, matches and scores stay on your device and – if you use iCloud – in your personal iCloud account. The developer has no access to them.

What the app processes
The app stores the content you create – player names, matches, scores, awards – locally on your device. With iCloud enabled, Apple syncs this data via CloudKit into the private database of your iCloud account, accessible only to you. Apple’s iCloud privacy terms apply in addition.
Scoring sheet catalog
The app downloads the current catalog of curated scoring sheets from a public CloudKit database. No personal data is transmitted.
Feedback and sheet submissions (voluntary)
If you send feedback or submit a scoring sheet, your message, the game name, the app version, a timestamp and – only if you provide it – your e-mail address are transmitted to a CloudKit database operated by the developer, solely to handle your request and improve the app (Art. 6(1)(b), (f) GDPR). You can request deletion at any time by e-mail.
Purchases
All purchases are processed by Apple through your App Store account. The developer never receives payment details.
Game Center, live sharing, AI research (all optional)
Linking a player profile to Game Center stores only the Game Center player identifier. Live sharing transmits the score to devices you invite over your local network. The optional AI research uses your own Anthropic API key; only when you start it, the game’s name is sent to Anthropic (USA) under Anthropic’s privacy policy. The key is stored solely in your device’s keychain.
No tracking
The app contains no ads, no analytics and no tracking SDKs.
Your rights
Under the GDPR you have the right of access, rectification, erasure, restriction, data portability and objection, and the right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority. For data in your private iCloud you exercise these rights directly on your device or Apple account; for feedback and submissions, an e-mail to the address above is sufficient.
